When I knew you, you could see through Anything that couldn't be true. Modern glory, Montessori, That fat kid Tony's stories. Now I hear you punch the clock, Drill children with the chalk. On target, full collision, This child needs permission. Have a hard time, there's yard time. One chance to spy the skyline. Staring in the vast of night, Wonder did you do it right? Had enough or just begun? Who said it should be fun? On a roll now, half a vision. Was this shit your decision? Not so bad. Not so rad. Thinking fondly of what you had. Honest reasons? Self-treason. Say could it be the season? Maybe bleed some love, I guess we tried to dove. I want to see your face, When we're in the same place, Heart strings will creep up sly, Then snap back on the ply. Say now there's not a chance, Just fuel to do the dance. When I'm taken, you're forsaken. One of us is always achin'. Tack too now, when the wind growl, Sit back and crew the sin's howl. Sugar sweet then salty dry. Always beat, why even try? A made moment to pretend, Then right back on the mend. And we're still getting old, Simmer up it's getting cold. No use moving forward now, I know I know there's just no how. Always peaked inside my head, Remember everything she said: She said I see right through you, You're filled with dread, it's a slight that's too true. That venom thread seems trite now, too true. And when we wed -- yeah we'll see that blue moon. A sputtered heart that's aged and tired. Muttered tart, like a sageman's fire. Gutter dart, like a wageman's hire, But check the chart, we're still caged and wired.

Nightcap 04:43
Wandering home, feel like a loose end on the street. The message sleeps, in mild kickings of a boycott. Change of course -- it's likely we should know by now, The system's down. I guess we'll fix it tomorrow. Maybe in there? You feel the noose's pointed stare. Like we just waste time, until it's done. Something to see. Did you leave it there for me? It's probably all fine. We'll make it fun. Somebody said, new beginnings are reified respect. A self-served flex, during visiting hours. Maitre'D, could you do something for us? Some kind of pilot trust, a nighty night cap. Sick of the dance? Could you at least concur romance Works best as a love crime -- something to hide. Looking away, can't think of what else you should say. You've already told me. No need to confide. You really want it now is that so harmful? Just dig on in and sort it after. Open up because you want that glass full. Making effort's a disaster. Ocean's wide enough to soothe what's spoken, Forty-five's your only curfew. Downwind for those who travel broken, Just watch the jibe it's gonna hurt you. One last time: it's not the work it's the result. Your chortling console, just knows you too well. And you're still in tact, so carry on like all's a drag Again in the nag. The righteous feelings of a teamster. Own it right, so you can keep the journey bright, As fresh as the night cap -- a moment too pure. Working remote, the blanks between each anecdote Play your mind, like a night nap, strength to endure.

Duty calls, When you're breaking outside these walls, And you're asking for a friend: What's it like there? Dangled high, You wonder how you even know this guy, And he wants to join your band. What a nightmare. Fed up, you sit up, you ask him for a drink. He rambles on, gambles one, raises quite a stink. He's a downtown clown with a righteous frown. Quite a sight here. Stoopey Blu, Do you wonder how he sees you? Make up your mind and lend a hand, Or let the kite tear. Hold on tight, Your mother's never raised you right. Though the offer might seem a bit slight, No one said we couldn't do it tonight. Shake that fear, It's a friendly gesture held so dear. As we ride, we'll kick into high gear. Just let the clouds fall where the nights steer. Where you go, When it's said and done, you just won't know. It's a happening affair -- only right now. Take your time, If you process it you might just find: This is something you can bear. There's a lighthouse. Walking, you're talking, carry on your merry way. It's something new, it's all in you, you're going to be OK. It's a conquest, true. Nothing else to do. Yes you know how. Purposely, You plucked an apple from that famous tree, And you said you wouldn't dare -- raised an eyebrow.

You said the flow wasn't right then, From every fan to the air vents. Accosted time, you lose your stride and Blame it all on conscience. With one touch you cried 'cause your soul implied That this hark, it really wasn't your way. And on the crutch of sad, said you want it really bad, But your heart, it got you out by Thursday. With a laugh now I can see the pain design, It's sorting out the rest, trying to be the best, But they're stuck in hell. Would it happen if they could invade your kind? You're shouting at the deaf, fuck your troubles clef, Promise you won't tell? They want the happy ending, An order we all pursue. But even claimed, the time keeps sending, We either die or continue. Mile high club's fun, but when said and done, It's a mark, a bucket-listed moment. And the child sucks fun, turned to social nuns. You're a nark, nothing but a torment. The back hurts, well that's the way it works, You can take five for breathing. Take two more, then pedal to the floor 'Cause the boss man will be seething. Play with hey all day, turn to gold it may. Do what's right, pretend that you have virtue. But when the sun goes down, Well the love will drown, Because it's night -- get home before the curfew. On a mission that nobody offered you, You're passing out the test, at your own behest, Acting like you've won. Never tell them what it is you're trying to do, Just let them know they're wrong, put it in a song, Dust your hands it's done. About what you said: completely disagree. Let me tell you a story, I do this everyday, Another xanax, please! About what you read, I'd rather you not see. Because it's really boring, No matter what you say. Another xanax, please! Please take the message kindly, Don't stir the pot now. Take time to make this friendly, You know I know you know how. When the semblants say It's the first of May, Gather round, it's time to shed your own blood. This is lovesick stealth, Ain't no branch of health, It's unfound, a necrophillic-prone dud.

Worn shoes 04:21
You've grown to used to hiding, Why don't you just roll through? Hoist up to break the tide and Set out the street, by shoe. Catch up and take the high ground, No reason to digress. It's lonely juice to cry now, So pleasing, I confess. Should Harry punch out the sailor? Someone said they saw him talking to her. Would you call such a combat a failure? A blemish on some... So Harry's heart was broken, Why should I give a damn? He wears it like a token, I guess it meets demand. I'm outside, I heard they were coming for me, I hope it's true. A bum rush, that mean touch Is coming to me, it's coming to you. I just want a fire, a riot, A mild dose of that fuckery brew. We all wave our hands and deny it, But it's something we all like to do. You've grown to used to hiding, What would you rather do? Just come, you can stand there, silent. Presence won will still be true. No chit, no chat, no sly ground, No reason to regress. So lovely to get high now, Makes the whole room feel blessed.

All hail 03:12
When we're sipping on light beer And it's full steam up ahead. Some say it's the life here, Ain't no panic, ain't no dread. These woods we will mozy, Every pine, fir, sycamore. Let's ring rounds of a rosie, 'Fore we fall to the floor. Well you know that it's bad, But don't seem so sad. From the outside looking in, Only you know where it's been. And tonight, with your friends, Hop the fence and make amends. Reap and sow, it's all show For the counselor to pretend. It's what I'm talking about, bruv. We've got all of that love. As fresh as an oyster, Raising hands to the sky. Don't matter the choice, sir, 'Cause we're all gonna die. Shuck it, suck it and drive. Look death in the eye, you'll know you're alive.

Urgency 04:17
Ghost town, you never really party anyway. You do now. Now that home is where you have to stay, for work and play. Who's down? To renegade the rave and throw it all away. Somehow, I'm learning as I go, the bottom of my 'tail, swimming proof I will prevail. No reason to exercise restraint, We're all going under. So start her up. On time is just a relic of thought And you can dine anywhere. Let's run amuck. The blitz kid, he's your kin, And he can buy anything. With a bullet tooth and utter lack of ruth, Those dear hands, they never ever had to work a day. And I can find you proof, that he'll just make shit up if it can make a buck. It's time, to toss your mediocre habits to the can. This line, its gonna sell you big, far beyond the tan, you'll be a better man. Deep fry, no one's gonna catch you with your father's hand. And don't sigh, apologies are wrong, 'Cause lions never draw, it's the violence of their jaw. No reason to step inside the paint, For some mother's blunder. Just shut her up. On task is never a matter of fact, 'Cause you can say anything. Let's try our luck. We're match made. Let's get laid. 'Cause we're to try everything, And who gives a fuck if it gets us stuck. These demands they never made much sense anyway, And I can say it's true, That if you dance in line, you will get by fine. Whining now, what's the market selling you? Without a doubt, you know the 'cause is never true. The sweetest rot from the depths of seven hells, What do they think of you if that should sell?

When I was walking, as one would do, With a hatchback heart, nothing to pursue, I could see myself In the reflection of my drink. If I was talking, speaking true, There'd be no words left for me to say to you. I could believe myself. I wouldn't have to think. If I was solving problems everday, You could just sit back, always on the stay, Yes, we could soothe our souls: Nothing matters all too much. But when I'm crawling, somewhere far away, You can call all your friends, wish yourself happy birthday. Yes, that truth it tolls -- we don't have the magic touch. I'd like to know, what it is you're trying to show. The creeps and dolls are waiting, no point in hesitating. 'Cause it's overdrive, You don't need it anymore to hide. Toss it out with your old alibi. Watch a flower bloom for you. When we were fighting, scorching earth, There was no sure line, who started it all first, Yes we were filled with doubt, But we were sure that we were right. Now more enlightened, torched that gerth, Tossed that weight away, discard for all it's worth And yes that killed our clout: There's no such thing as plight. I send regards to your dog and you, Trying hard not to seem so blue.

It's a fresh coat, beat just right. Modern gloat, junkie chic night. My mind gets racing when the pace just sputters on. It's fine, they're taken when they see this man at dawn. Spot the glassy eyes, it's Charlie Sheen. Been up all night, at least someone's keen. This marks your chance to duck your heart and beat the charade. You'll find it hurts to see what lurks beyond the stunner shades. So let's post up, dust off the digs of the old drive. We're seeing sunlight, pouring up rites of a deep dive. Mock up, write down all the things that we wanted then and we can't have now. A botched head, every thought you had when you waned to bow. Spun in place, only sticking your face out the window. Said you liked the smell of grit, surely something that you don't know. Almost doesn't count, when you're never truly down and out, There's no need to shout. Coin here, coin there, doesn't matter when you're always winding down. A little test though, can you feel the dream? It's who you don't know, will tell you if you're seen. Should sell the spark show, thought you feel so wise. It isn't heaven-sent, neither is your demise.
